The staples have come out but the wound still hasnt healed! Although its a lot smaller and looking alot less angry!
Smaller but still looks sore!
I’m still doing my blood curdling scream every now and then! It makes mum feel sick! Mum doesnt know whats causing it. Whether it is Phatom limb pain or muscle or nerve. We are just hoping it gets better soon! Mum has stopped the Metacam but im still on Gabapentin and Tramadol.
Mum has been reading this site for the past month looking for help in her darkest hours. I know she has often questioned whether she has done the right thing for me.
She brought me a new harness because of this website! She brought me the new eazydog harness that people suggested on here. I love it. I cry alot less when walking now with it, than i did on a lead! I love being outside but i dont want to come in when it rains! Mum took me for a wee in the garden and it was cold and raining and i wouldnt come in, mum was worried i would get cold and become ill so made me wear a baby towel on my head while i sat outside!!! As you can see i wasn’t very impressed!
Not impressed!

sorry that wound is still looking angry. I know that disturbs you and causes you to second guess yourself. It will get better soon……surgery recovery is so hard but once the sparkle comes back you will be soooooo happy!

Thanks Christine, we’re having a down day today. Lots of yelping and crying and not able to settle. Hopefully tomorrow will be better! x
